We are a four person crew working the north side of Columbus. Mowing, cleanups, mulch, hedges, and small paver work. Marcus started the business in 2015 with one mower and a trailer on the back of a pickup and we have never gone looking for more than about two hundred lawns, because past that you stop knowing whose dog is friendly.

Most of what we do is the weekly mow from April through October. We turn up the same day every week, we edge, we string trim the fence lines and we blow the hard surfaces off before we leave. Quarter acre lots are usually 45 to 75 dollars a visit and a quarter to a half acre is 75 to 120, but the only honest number is the one after somebody has stood in your yard, so treat those as the range and not the price. Anything over half an acre we price on site.

The other half of the year is cleanups. Spring is beds and the first cut, autumn is leaves, and both run 250 to 600 dollars depending on how big the lot is and how much came down. Mulch we do in spring and again in late summer for anybody who wants it to still look dark in September.

Getting a price

Estimates are free inside our service area and we do them Monday to Friday between 8 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon, an hour a visit. Somebody needs to be home for the first one so we can walk the yard together and you can tell us what you actually care about, which is never what we would have guessed. The written quote lands in your email the next working day.

What we do not do

No snow removal. No tree removal, and that includes anything you need a rope for. No irrigation installs and no sprinkler repair. No fencing. No chemical lawn treatment programmes, so if what you want is a fertiliser schedule we are the wrong people and we will say so on the phone rather than take the job and subcontract it.
