Free estimates and how we quote
The estimate visit is free inside the service area and there is no catch in it. We are not going to turn up with a tablet and a finance plan. Somebody from the crew walks the yard with you for about an hour, measures what needs measuring, and writes it up that evening.
When we do them
Monday to Friday, 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon, in hour slots. We need at least 24 hours notice to put one in the book, and in leaf season it is more like a week because the whole crew is on cleanups and the estimates get squeezed into the gaps. Saturdays we are mowing, not estimating.
Somebody has to be home
For the first visit, yes. Not because we cannot see the grass without you but because every yard has a thing the owner cares about that we would never guess: the strip behind the garage, the rose the neighbour planted, the gate that has to stay shut because of the dog. Ten minutes of you telling us that saves an argument in week three. Repeat visits for an existing customer we can do without you there.
What you get
A written quote by email the next working day. It lists the work, the price, what is excluded, and when we could start. It is good for thirty days. If you want it changed, say so and we will redo it; we do not treat the first quote as a negotiating position.
Who can book
New customers can request an estimate slot and the office confirms it by text or email within one working day. We do not let a new customer pick a slot and have it confirmed on the spot, because the route decides what is actually possible and the route lives in Dana's head and in the calendar, not on the website. Existing customers get priority when the book is tight.
Call (614) 555-0147 between 7 and 5 on a weekday. Text (614) 555-0162 any time and we will answer in the morning.
