Where we work

North Columbus, and a tighter area than people expect. The crew is in one truck pair and a route that sprawls is a route that runs out of daylight, so we hold the line on this even when the job is a good one.

The ZIP codes we serve

43085, 43201, 43202, 43214, 43220, 43221, 43235 and 43240. That is the whole list. Clintonville, Worthington, Upper Arlington, parts of the Short North and Beechwold, and the Polaris side of 43240.

ZIP codes we do not serve, including ones next door

We do not work 43081, which is Westerville, and we know perfectly well it touches 43085 where we do work. The route runs north to south, not east to west, and the ten minutes across to Westerville in afternoon traffic costs us a stop. We also do not work 43017, which is Dublin, or 43229. Please do not ask us to make an exception for a corner lot that is technically four hundred feet outside, because we have made that exception before and it cost a crew an hour a week for a season.

If your address is outside these eight ZIP codes we cannot take the work on and we will not book an estimate visit for it. We would rather tell you that on the first phone call than send somebody out to look at a yard we are never going to mow. We do not keep a waiting list for areas we do not serve.

One exception, and it is not about geography

Commercial and multi unit work we turn down inside the service area as well. Apartment blocks, HOA common ground, office parks. It is not the mowing, it is the invoicing, and four people cannot carry sixty days of payment terms.
