Working for Greenway

We hire in February and March for the season and almost never in the middle of it. Four people is the size we want to be, so a job here opens up when somebody leaves, which is not often.

What the work is

Out of the yard at 6.45, home when the route is done, which in July means half past five and in November means whenever the light goes. Mowing, trimming, blowing, raking, lifting mulch. It is hot in August and it is wet in April. Nobody on this crew sits down during the day.

What we ask for

A driving licence and a clean record, because everybody tows. Willing to learn the paver work, which is where the interesting jobs are. Able to talk to a customer in their own garden without being awkward about it, which turns out to be the hard part to hire for.

What we pay

Above the going rate for the area, paid weekly, and we do not do unpaid training weeks. We will not put a number on a web page because it depends on what you can already do.
