Terms of service

Last updated 1 February 2026. These terms apply to every quote, estimate and visit. They are short on purpose.

1. Who we are

Greenway Landscaping LLC, an Ohio limited liability company. In these terms "we" and "Greenway" mean Greenway Landscaping LLC and "you" means the person or household who booked the work.

2. Quotes

A quote is valid for thirty days from the date on it and describes the work it lists and nothing else. Work discovered after the quote, including buried concrete, old footings, cable runs and tree roots, is quoted separately before we carry on. We do not carry on and bill it afterwards.

3. Scheduling and cancellation

Scheduled visits may be moved by either side with 24 hours notice. A cancellation with less than 24 hours notice is charged at 60 dollars. We may move a visit for weather at no charge to you. Recurring mowing may be ended by either side with one week of notice in writing, which includes a text message.

4. Payment

Deposits of 20 percent apply to work over 500 dollars and are credited against the final invoice. Invoices are due within fourteen days. Late invoices carry no interest for the first thirty days, after which we stop the service rather than add a charge.

5. Liability

We carry two million dollars of liability insurance. We are not liable for damage to anything buried or hidden that you did not tell us about, including irrigation lines, invisible fencing and low voltage cable. We are liable for what we break above ground and we fix it.

6. Photographs

We sometimes photograph completed work. Tell us if you would rather we did not and we will not.

7. Notices

Legal notices under these terms must be in writing and are effective when delivered to our registered agent. Notices to Greenway Landscaping LLC go to:

That is the registered agent and it is not our yard, it is not an office you can visit, and nobody there can tell you anything about your lawn. For anything to do with the actual work, ring the office on (614) 555-0147.

8. Governing law

Ohio law applies and the courts of Franklin County, Ohio have exclusive jurisdiction.
